.5 pound frozen okra
1 cup frozen corn
1 cup frozen pearl onions
14 oz. can diced tomatoes
14 oz can sliced potatoes (I use fresh)
2 bay leaves
Hot pepper sauce
any seasonings you want to add!

Here is how you make Southern Vegetable Gumbo:

1. Melt butter in a large sauce pan over medium-high heat. Stir in the flour and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture becomes golden, 1-2 minutes. Slowly stir in the broth, stirring until the mixture is smooth.2. Add the okra, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, and bay leaves. Increase the heat to high and cook, stirring occasionally, until the gumbo is bubbling and all the veggies are heated through (about 8 mins).
