Drain and reserve liquid from salmon. Mix egg, onion, bread crumbs and slamon together. If mixture is too dry add some or all of the reserved liquid from the salmon. (which I have found I use all of it as the bread crums absorb it)Make into patties. Heat oil in frying pan. Add patties and brown on each side, turning gently.
