What Are The Ingredients For Kolambi(Shrimp) Sukey Recipe?The ingredients for Kolambi(Shrimp) Sukey are: 30 count medium sized Shrimp,shelled and deveined1.5cup diced Potato Cubes 200gms.Shallots finely chopped 50gms.Sesame Oil 2.5tsp.Red Chilli powder 1tsp.Turmeric powder Salt to taste 5 medium hot Green Chillies 1tsp.Black Pepper powder 0.5cup raw shredded fresh Coconut 5tbsps.Chopped Fresh Coriander(Cilantro)leaves How Do I Make Kolambi(Shrimp) Sukey?Here is how you make Kolambi(Shrimp) Sukey: Marinate the Shrimp in 0.5tsp.Turmeric powder and a dash of salt and set asideGrind the Black Pepper powder and 3 green chillies together.Add shredded fresh coconut and grind the mixture to a coarse paste and set it aside.Heat Sesame Oil and fry the finely chopped Shallots till crisp and brown.Add diced Potato cubes and 2 slit green Chillies and fry for 6-7 minutes on low flame.Add Turmeric powder and Red Chilli powder and fry for a further 3 minutes.Add Salt to taste and water to form a thin gravy.Cover and cook on slow flame till almost cooked. Add the marinated Shrimp and cook till both potatoes and Shrimp are cooked.Add the corsely ground Coconut paste and cook for 3-4 minutes more.This should have a thick gravy and should not be dry.Sprinkle finely chopped Fresh Coriander(Cilantro) leaves and serve hot with Indian Bread or any othe bread.
