16oz Penne Rigate noodle
1 lb ground mild italian turkeu sausage
2 garlic cloves, crushed
8oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 1/2 Italian seasoning
1 can (14.5) Italian style diced tomatoes
2 cans (14.5) crushed tomatoes
3 cups fresh spinach, chopped
4 oz mozzarella, grated
1/2 cup parmesan, grated


How Do I Make Italian Pasta Casserole?

Here is how you make Italian Pasta Casserole:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In large pot, boil pasta about 8 minutes and drain. Return to pan. In a skillet, heat sausage, oinion, garlic. Saute until sausage is cooked, breaking it up as you stir it. It takes about 10 mintes for it to cook through. Add mushrooms and saute for 3 minutes. Add pepper, Italian seasoning and tomatoes to the pan and simmer, stirring occasionally, about 8 minutes. Combine mixture with pasta, spinach, mozzarella and half of the parmesan.
