Usually, the chicken is breaded and pan fried before being smothered in spaghetti sauce and ooey gooey cheese... in my recipe the chicken is simply baked without the breading to cut down on extra calories and fat without compromising the traditional Italian flavors!

1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts (4 oz. each)
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 cups spaghetti sauce (I use low-sodium, but the nutrition facts are for regular)
1/2 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 1/2 tbsp reduced-fat parmesan cheese, grated
3 cups cooked (6 oz. dry) angel hair, thin spaghetti, or regular spaghetti




How Do I Make Skinny Chicken Parmesan?

Here is how you make Skinny Chicken Parmesan:

Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and season with Italian seasoning, garlic and onion powder. Bake in the oven at 375 for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and top with spaghetti sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Place back in the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package directions.
