What Are The Ingredients For Kathy's Lasagna Recipe?The ingredients for Kathy's Lasagna are: 1# Lean ground beef1# Lean ground turkey 2 - jars or cans of pasta sauce at least 26 oz each 1 large carton of low fat cottage chees 4 cups low moiture part skim mozzerella cheese 1/2 cup parmesean cheese or mixture 12 oz of lasagna noodles 2 egg substitue or 2 eggs (will need to adjust calories) garlic powder italian seasoning How Do I Make Kathy's Lasagna?Here is how you make Kathy's Lasagna: Servings: approx: 21-3X3 pieces or 12-4X4 piecesLasagna pan Brown and drain beef and turkey with garlic and italian seasoning. Add pasta sauce, cottage cheese & egg to meat mixture. Spray lasagna pan with Pam. Place a layer of noodles down. Top with 1/2 of sauce mixture on top of noodles. Top with 1/2 of mozarella cheese and sprinkle with 1/2 of parmesean cheese. Repeat layers: noodles, sauce, cheeses. Add about 1/2 to 1 cup water around edges of pan, cover with foil and bake 350 degrees for 45 min, remove foil and bake for an additional 15 min. Remove from oven and let stand about 15-20 min.You can add additional vegetables like spinach, zuchinni, sqush, or eggplant or use as the base for a vegetarian fare.
