Uses raw noodles, and is a real crowd pleaser. I used to use ground beef, regular cottage cheese, and Italian mix grated cheese, which really raised the fat content, and calories. Since bypass surgery, fat is not a tolerable thing so now I use ground turkey breast, non-fat cottage cheese, and skim mozzarella. The recipe was originally in a book that came with my first microwave back in 1981, both of which are long since gone, and I've put it together from memory.

small can tomato paste with seasoning
1 lb of 99% fat free ground meat (Nut. info using turkey breast)
small box of whole wheat lasagna noodles
small lowfat cottage cheese
1 egg
20 oz. sliced or grated mozzarella cheese


How Do I Make Microwave Lasagna?

Here is how you make Microwave Lasagna:

Brown ground meat; drain any fat. Stir in all but 1 cup of the tomato sauce, and all the tomato paste; stir until well mixed. Put reserved 1 cup of tomato sauce in bottom of glass lasagna dish (13x9), then cover bottom with uncooked noodles. Stir egg into cottage cheese, and mix well. Spoon half of cottage cheese mixture on the noodles, spreading to cover well. Place 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese over the cottage cheese, then pour half of the sauce mixture over the cheese, spreading to cover evenly. Make another layer of the above, starting with the noodles, then the remaining cottage cheese, then the remaining mozzarella, then the remaining sauce. Cover. Cook in microwave at 800 watts for 8 minutes, then at approximately 600 watts for 35-40 minutes.
