The ingredients for Tanya's Pesto are:

1/2 cup toasted pine nuts
6-9 garlic cloves (peeled)
3/4 cup grated parmesean cheese (I like the good stuff from Sam's)
2 cups fresh basil (washed and dried)
1/2 cup fresh italian parsley (washed and dried)
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup chicken stock
zest and juice of 1 lemon
salt to taste (approx 1 tsp)


How Do I Make Tanya's Pesto?

Here is how you make Tanya's Pesto:

Combine garlic, basil, pine nuts, cheese, lemon zest and salt in food processor. Blend until grainy consistency. Then gradually blend in olive oil, chicken stock, and lemon juice. This produces a slightly thicker consistency than store bought, add more chicken stock if you want a thinner pesto! Taste for seasoning, add as necessary.
