How Do I Make Olive, Pepper and Mushroom Pizza?

Here is how you make Olive, Pepper and Mushroom Pizza:

To make the dough: - Combine 1/4 cup warm water and sugar - stir until the sugar has dissolved completely. - Add the yeast to the sugar water, give it a quick stir and set aside, covered, in a warm place for approximately 5 min. - In a medium bowl combine the flour and salt. - Make an indent in the flour and pour in the olive oil and another 1/4 warm water. Next, add the yeast mixture. - Stir until well incorporated, using your hands as needed. If the mixure is too dry (if the ingredients are not combining well) add warm water 1 tbsp at a time until you have a dough that is soft but not sticky. - Knead the dough on a hard, floured surface until smooth. This will take about 5 min - you will feel the difference in the dough when it's ready, it will all be of the same consistency. - Lightly oil the inside of the bowl that you used to mix the dough originally either by spraying with cooking spray or patting with a little olive oil on a paper towel. - Put the dough in the bowl, coat the top lightly with oil as well, cover and let rise in a warm place until dough has doubled in size (about 45-60 minutes).Sauce & toppings: - While your dough is rising, chop or grate your toppings as needed and set aside. - Combine all of your sauce ingredients into a bowl and mix well.Make your Pizza: - Once your dough has risen, turn your oven on to 375*F. - Knead the risen dough for about 5 minutes until you think you have gotten all of the air bubbles out of it. Roll into a big circle - flip the dough over a couple of times on the counter to account for the elasticity. Once the dough is the right shape/size, carefully lay it onto a large pizza pan. - To make the crust, simply fold in any of the edges that are over the side of the pan. I like to stuff my crust with some of the grated cheese :) - Pour the tomatoe sauce over your dough and spread evenly. - Next, add all of your toppings equally over the tomatoe sauce, then top with grated cheese. - Bake on the middle rack in your over for 20-25 min, until the crust is golden brown. - When done, let sit for 10 min before slicing and serving.Serving Size:?10 equal slices, 1 slice per servingNumber of Servings: 10Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user MYARTEMIS13.
