1/2 C carrots, sliced or diced
1/2 C onions, chopped
1/2 C green pepper, chopped
1 C zucchini, chopped or grated
1 C chicken broth (I use low sodium)
1 1/2 C DelMonte Traditional Spaghetti Sauce (or whatever brand you prefer)
1 C Water


How Do I Make Turkey and Vegetable Ragu?

Here is how you make Turkey and Vegetable Ragu:

Makes 4 - 1 Cup servings.Put olive oil in large deep skillet. Add ground turkey and brown over medium high heat, breaking up any large chunks. Add salt & pepper to tasteAdd carrots, onions, green pepper & zucchini and continue to saute until the vegetables are just starting to get tender. Add the chicken broth, spaghetti sauce & 1/2 - 1 cup of the water (depending upon your desired thickness) Simmer on low heat, covered, for about 45 minutes. I like to add a big palmful of Italian bend dry seasoning to this, but the choice is yours depending on how well your choice of spaghetti sauce is seasoned.
