- 4- large carrots, peeled and chopped ( I used 8 smallish ones and my soup was more amazing then I ever imagined
- 4- cups of water
- 2- whole garlic cloves
- 1- onion chopped (orig recipe calls for just a 1/2 but I love onion so I added more
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- sea salt to taste ( I used regular salt)

Here is how you make P.I.N.K. cauliflower and carrot soup:

In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add carrots, cover and allow to cook till bright in color and almost tender, add cauliflower and re-cover, cook until cauliflower is tender. I added the onion and garlic about 10 min after the cauliflower had been added. I let cook for about 10 more min, my goal was to have the carrots and cauliflower fork tender and the onions translucent and no longer hard. I then removed the pot completely from the burner and let sit and then added in the ginger and salt. Then I poured the contents of the pot into the food processor and blended until pureed and creamy looking.
