Here is how you make Fresh homemade tomato soup:

Saute, carrot, celery, onion and garlic in 1/4 cup of vegetable oil until vegetables are tender. Add 1/4 cup of flour to oil and vegetables and stir until flour is well distributed and slightly begining to brown. Add chicken broth to vegetables and flour mixture, mix well. Add tomatos and parsley flakes. Mix well and bring to boil and cook for about 30 min., until soup begins to thicken. Remove from heat and blend with emulsion mixer. If creamy soup is desired, milk, cream or sour cream may be added just before serving but calories for those items must be added to total.
