Here is how you make Moong Daal with Spinach - PBDAVE - Gujarati Style:

Soak Moong Daal for 2 to 3 hrs. (optional) can be cooked without soaking. Cook frozen spinach in a pot in microwave for 5 to 6 min. add litle salt and turmeric. In a pot add Olive Oil when hot add mustard/cumin seeds add pinch of asoefoitida/garlic/ginger/green chilli crushed and then add moong daal without water stir for a min. and add 3 cups of boiling water. After 5 to 7 min. add cooked spinach add ground turmeric/cumin/coriander seeds and sugar. Add salt to taste.Serving Size:?5 people
