The dough should not be too sticky. Rest for at least 30 minutes. Make lemon sized balls of the dough, roll out parathas approx 4 inches in diameter, place on a hot griddle, cook on both sides, then lightly fry with about 1 tsp of butter for each paratha. These parathas freeze well & can be made in advance.
