combine drained beans into a mixing bowl, warm in the microwave for about 1 minute...just to make them soft and easier to mash. mash them well with a potato masheradd all other ingredients except only 1/4 cup of the cornmeal and stir well....mixture will be wet, but if you cant form a patty add a little more cornmeal. form a patty and dip into cornmeal on both sides. Fry in a non stick skillet sprayed with non stick spray and drizzled with a little olive oil. Cook till nice and brown on each side, allow to cool for storage on a paper towel lined plate.
