The ingredients for Mexican Shells are:

1 lb Ground Turkey
1 regular jar salsa (pace)
1 can tomatoe sauce
1/2 C water
1 box large pasta shells
1 regular can French's Fried onions
1 small can diced green chiles
1 C Monterey or Pepperjack cheese


How Do I Make Mexican Shells?

Here is how you make Mexican Shells:

Cook Pasta according to package. Meanwhile, brown turkey in a large skillet. While that is browning, in a large bowl combine salsa, water and tomatoe sauce. Stir to combine and set aside. Once turkey is browned, and 1/2 C of salsa mixture, 1/2 of the cheese, 1/2 of the onions and the green chiles. Place 1/2 of the remaining salsa mixture in the bottom of a casserole dish. Fill the large shells with the turkey mixture and place up in the dish. Spoon/pour the remaining salsa mixture on top of the shells. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Uncover and place remaining cheese and onions and cook for an additional 5 minutes. EnjoyI usually have fat free refried beans and maybe some avocado and tomatoe salad for sides.
