After all is browned drain and rinse off excess grease. Put mixture back into skillet and add minced garlic. Saute until garlic has warmed and browned slightly. While the meat is browning add beef broth, 5 cans of black beans (with gravy), and 3/4 of the can of tomatoes (with juice) to a large stock pot. Take the last can of black beans and mash them up and then add to the stock pot. This will help thicken the soup and make it more stew like (hence the title stoup). After the meat has been cooked, rinsed, and garlice sauted add all of it to the stock pot with the other ingredients. Boil, stirring frequently until mixture reach the consistence you like. I simmer mine for about 30-45 minutes. When ready to serve add a dollup of fat free sourcream, chopped green onions, and a few jalepinos slices to top.Serving Size: approx 20 1 cup servingsNumber of Servings: 20Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user DIVA1966.What's The Nutritional Info For Black Bean Stoup (Stew/Soup)?The nutritional information for Black Bean Stoup (Stew/Soup) is:
