Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the apples and onions. Cook, stirring occasional, for 10 minutes, or until the apples are tender. Add brown sugar. Stir until dissolved. Stir in catsup, cinnamon, salt and pepper. Mix in the beans. Put in a 2 qt casserole. Mix well.
