1 TB butter, lite
1/3 c. cup onion, chopped
2 tsp garlic
1.5 TB bacon bits
1 beef bouillon cube
1-1.5 c. water
Dash of pepper
Dash of basil or parsley
Dash of lemon or lime pepper

Here is how you make Green Beans w/ Onion in Beef Bouillon:

In skillet, saute onion and garlic in butter til onion is clear. Add bacon bits. Saute another min. In glass dish, heat 1-1.5 c. water in microwave with beef bouillon cube for 1-2 min. Stir well, making sure cube dissolves. Pour into skillet. Add green beans. Then add spices. Turn up heat til lightly boiling, then turn down and simmer for about 15-20 min. That's it. Delicious!Serves 4.--------------------------------*I usually open the cans of green beans, and rinse them with a little water to remove any salt that was put in the can. The bouillon adds beef flavor along with the salt that's in it, so you won't need to add salt in with the spices.*Also, these are good with mushrooms sauted in with the onion, if you like mushrooms.
