white flour for dusting and kneading

Here is how you make Simple Whole Wheat Bread:

*preheat the oven to 350 40 minutes prior to baking1. pour the yeast, sugar, and salt into a bowl2. add the hot water, and whisk until dissolved3. add the milk, egg, butter, and sugar; whisk until dissolved4. in a separate bowl, mix the baking powder with the whole wheat flour5. pour 1/4 of the liquid into the flour, and mix as well as possible. continue this method until the liquid is fully mixed; the dough should be quite sticky6. sprinkle the white flour over the top of the dough and over your hands. knead the dough about two minutes. (continue to dust the dough and your hands with the flour until you can knead without the dough sticking to your hands.)7. let the dough stand uncovered for about 30 minutes8. dust a large plate with white flour, and place the dough on it9. saturate a towel with hot water, and place it over the dough. let it stand two hours.10. remove the towel, and form the dough into your desired shape (i.e. one round loaf, dinner rolls, sandwich rolls, etc. keep in mind it will rise more during baking) use more white flour to coat the dough11. grease a cookie sheet with olive oil, and place the dough on top12. bake at 350 for about 35 minutes. my oven tends to run a little hot, so you may need to adjust the time.13.
