Add 1 egg and beat for two minutes. Add 3/4 cup whole wheat flour and keep beating. then add about 1 cup whole wheat flour and 1 1/2 cups of the unbleached white flour. (You may have to add more or less flour depending on the consistency of the dough.) Knead until soft and elastic (about 5-8 minutes). Use the unbleached flour on your bread board as you knead. Let dough rise in greased bowl until double. Punch down and then let rise again. Make into loaves and put in loaf pans. Rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Makes two loaves.Note: I add 6 Tbsp. gluten to mine to get a prettier and higher loaf.
