Boil 2 cups water and pour over rice. Let stand for 30 minutes. Rinse rice with cold water and drain well.Melt butter in skillet, add rice and cook over medium heat stirring frequently until buter is almost absorbed (about 5 min)Turn into 1 quart casserole dish, sprinkle with garlic salt (or powder). Pour broth oer and bake covered for 45 minutes.Meanwhile brown almonds in 1 T. of butter stirring frequently then place on paper towel to cool.Fluff rice with fork, add parsley and almonds, mix well.
