1 28-oz can Contadina crushed tomatoes
1 cup vegetable broth
1/2 cup sliced onion
1 cup sliced red cabbage

1 cup fresh parsley sprigs
2 medium carrots cut in 1 inch chunks
1 roasted or fresh red pepper, quartered
1 cup cooked pinto beans, mashed
2 teaspoons organic all-purpose vegetable seasoning
2 - 3 shakes red pepper flakes, to taste
salt and pepper to taste


How Do I Make Tomato Vegetable Soup?

Here is how you make Tomato Vegetable Soup:

Put vegetable broth, crushed tomatoes, onions and cabbage in 2 quart sauce pan, Heat to boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Put the balance of the ingredients in a blender or food processor. I like to use my Vita-mix. It is powerful enough to puree to perfection and heats the ingredients by friction. Pour about a cup of the liquid from the boiled ingredients over the fresh veggies in the blender and blend until chopped. Add the rest of the liquid along with the cabbage and onions and puree until smooth.
