1 cup(s) (chopped) uncooked onion(s), Thinly sliced
1/2 cup(s) white wine
1/4 tsp table salt
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
3/4 tsp ground sage
3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 cup dry rice Uncle Bens Rice, Whole Grain White, Long Grain
4 oz Foster Farms Turkey Ham, Diced


How Do I Make Turkey Ham and Rice?

Here is how you make Turkey Ham and Rice:

1. In a medium-size saucepan, heat the stock over low heat. Meanwhile, in a 12 - nonstick skillet or wok, heat the oil over moderate heat. Add the onion, rice and garlic. Cook, stirring frequently, for 3 minutes or until the onions are slightly softened. 2. Add the wine and 1/2 cup of the hot stock to the skillet. Stir in the salt and red pepper flakes and cook, stirring occasionally, until almost all of the stock has been absorbed. Continue adding the stock, 1/2 cup at a time, keeping the liquid at a simmer and stirring frequently for about 20 minutes or until the rice is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed. Stir in the sage and the last of the stock. 3. Stir in the turkey ham and cook for 1 minute or until heated through. Top each serving with some of the cheese.Serving Size:Makes 4 1-cup servings.
