Here is how you make Apricot Bread:

Chop apricots into pieces and soak them in the milk for 4 hrs. Place the flour, baking powder and soda, salt, and nutmeg in a bowl and cut in butter. Add sugar and raisins. Make a well in the center and pour in the beaten egg and milk with apricots. Mix well to make a soft dough. Place dough in a 1-lb loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 30 minutes or until your toothpick comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes in pan before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
