4 cup All-purpose Flour
4 1/2 tsp Fleischmann's Yeast (instant dry yeast)
1 tbsp Salt
3 tsp Dried Basil
4 tbsp Molasses
2 tbsp Carlini olive oil
2 1/4 cup Warm Water



How Do I Make Basil Rye Bread?

Here is how you make Basil Rye Bread:

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Combine 4 cups of flour and rye bread improver with salt, molasses,olive oil ,remaining water and yeast water mixture. Stir until blended smooth. Mix in the remaining flour, do not knead. Allow dough to rest for 10 min. Knead for 10 min. or until dough is blistery. Allow to rise covered for 1 hour or until doubled. Punch down and allow to rise for 30 min. Divide into 2 balls. Allow to rest for 10 min. Knead each ball into preloaf shape and then place into greased loaf pans. Allow to rise to desired size( about an hour). Bake at 425 degrees for 25 - 30 min.Serving Size:?2 - 21 slice loavesNumber of Servings: 42
