You can add caraway seeds (ick), dill, or another herb with the flour if you want. You can add a little salt, but the sauerkraut is kind of salty anyway so don't overdo it. I left it out, and I thought they would have been better with a little added salt, but my husband loved them.Makes 2 lbs of dough, for 1 or 2 loaves or 12 big (90 g ea) dinner rollsOnce the dough is complete, shape into loaves or buns and let raise 45 minutes or so in greased or parchment-lined baking pan. Place in preheated 375 F oven - 28 minutes for the rolls, longer for the loaves - until hollow sounding when tapped on the bottom, or an internal thermometer reads 190 F.
