Here is how you make Nutty Whole Grain Bread:

Proof the yeast by mixing it with the water and sugar in a non-metal container then let it sit for 10 minutes until it gets foamy. While yeast mixture is proofing, add dry ingredients to your breadmaker. After 10 minutes add the oil to the yeast mixture and pour it all into your breadmaker. Use the white bread setting. I prefer to use the manual setting and let the breadmaker knead, rise, and knead the bread, and then I will turn it into two loaf pans for the 2 rise. You can make it manually by mixing all the dry ingredients except the two cups of white flour in a large bowl and pouring in the proofed yeast mixture (yeast, water, sugar, and oil) into the dry ingredients. Stir it by hand or with an electric mixer with a dough hook. Add in enough white flour until the dough is formed. Knead with the dough hook or by hand for about 10 minutes. Put dough into a large greased bowl, cover with a cloth and let the dough rise for 45 min to an hour, in a warm place free from drafts, until doubled in size. Punch down the dough, turn it out onto a counter or table that has been sprayed with a little oil. and knead it about 15 times. Do not add flour, just grease your hands and the surface you are kneading the bread on. Divide the dough in two and form into loaves. Place the loaves into greased pans, cover with a cloth, and let rise for 30-45 minutes in a warm place. Preheat oven to 375 Fahrenheit. Put loaves in the oven and reduce the heat to 350. Bake for 35-40 minutes. When loaves are done, turn off oven, and leave loaves in the oven for another 10 minutes. After removing the loaves from the oven, remove them from the bread pans and let cool on a wire rack or clean cloth. Serving Size:?24 servings
