1. Mix yeast into water.2. Combine 5 C hot water and 7 C flour. Blend well.3. Add salt, oil, and honey. Blend again.4. Add 1 C flour, then yeast/water mixture. Blend.5. Add 3-4 C flour and knead 10 min. on low speed. Dough will be soft and wet.6. Oil or wet hands. Mold dough into pans. If decorative shapes are desired, aedd more flour and knead by hand till doug is dry enough to be non-sticky and workable. Twist, braid, or mold as desired.7. Oil tops, cover with dish towel, and let rise in warm place till double (approx 45 min.)8. Bake at 350 for 30 min.9. Butter outside of loaf to soften crust and let cool.Makes 4 loaves approx. 18 slices per loaf.If you want to bake some and freeze some dough, let dough to be frozen rise once.
