Combine starter, water, yeast, sugar, salt, & baking soda. Let set a few minutes till foam starts to form. Then add oats and let set 5 minutes to soften. Blend in flour to make a smooth dough. It will be sticky. Continue to kneed about 15 minutes.Place dough ball in a lightly greased large non-metalic bowl. Turn to coat, cover at let rise in a warm, draft-free place until doubled. Approx 1-2 hours.When ready, punch dough down, kneed another 5 minutes then place in a lightly greased loaf pan. Cover and let rise again until it reaches above the edge of the pan. As it is a soughdough, it may be as quick as an hour, may take overnight.Preheat oven to 400* & place a pie tin on the bottom of oven.Place pan in center of oven, 1/2 cup water in the pie tin and bake 25 minutesLet cool 10 minutes then remove from pan.
