Here is how you make Paska Easter Bread 6 loaves Total - 1 slice:

Prepare yeast in a medium bowl. Set in warm area and let rise until at least double in size. In a large container combine flour, powdered milk, sugar, salt, & Crisco. Mix well until Crisco is broken into small pieces. Make a well in center and pour in eggs and 1/2 of the water to temper eggs. Add yeast. Start to mix the dough until it forms a solid springy round away from the sides of the pan. Use a small amount Crisco to grease the sides of the pan so dough doesn't stick as it rises. Place in warm area, and let rise for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Punch down. Form into round and let rise a second time for 45 minutes. After second rising, shape into loaves. Place in greased pans. Let rise for 45 minutes. Poke numerous times with a fork then brush with egg. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Adjust time if necessary.
