1 tsp. sugar

2 c. white whole wheat flour
1 tbsp. olive oil
additional white flour for rolling out

Here is how you make Whole Wheat Flat Bread:

Place 1/4 c. warm water in medium mixing bowl. Add sugar and yeast. Allow to proof for 5 minutes, until creamy. Add salt, powders, and flour. Add enough water to make a soft but not too sticky dough. Pour oil into another bowl and turn dough out into bowl. Cover and let rise 15-20 minutes. Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface. Roll or press into a 4x8" rectangle. With a sharp knife, cut into 10 equal pieces. Place a small amount of flour onto counter top. Gently push down the center of ball with the palm of your hand. Then roll out into a 6" circle. Heat a nonstick skillet over low-medium heat. Place bread circles in skillet. Cook until lightly browned and bubbly. Turn over and continue cooking.
