Basil to taste
Himalayan Pink Sea Salt and Malabar Pepper to taste.

You can use regular salt and pepper... But Trust me, the Himalayan salt and the Malabar pepper are SUPERB!

Here is how you make Texas Willie's Sauteed Broccoli Leaves:

Start heating a skillet and the olive oil on medium-medium high heat.Wash and pat dry the broccoli leaves and cut the tough center stem from them.Roll the leaves up (Like a big fat cigar) and cut them into strips (about 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide)Peel the onion and cut in two, place the onion halves face down and slice them into 3-4 sections, then coarsely dice the sections.Put the onion in the pre-heated skillet and saute for about 3-4 minutes (or until the onion is translucent).Add the broccoli leaf strips, spices and any additional olive oil you may deem necessary.Serving Size: Serves 2- 4Number of Servings: 1Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user TEXASWILLIE.
