In a large bowl mix yeast, water, milk and sugar. Let stand 5 minutes, until foamy.Add flour and salt and mix well. Cut butter into three pieces and drop dough in bowl and mix constantly.Knead for 2 minutes.Cover bowl and let rise 45 minutes in a warm place. Preheat oven to 400f.Turn risen dough onto lightly floured surface. Press into circle, then using a rolling pin, roll it out more into an even 10" circle.
