1 cup rolled, regular oatmeal
1 cup warm water
2 Tbl. lowfat yogurt
1 cup water
1 Tbl. ground flaxseed


How Do I Make Oatmeal?

Here is how you make Oatmeal:

This needs to be soaked overnight to get the full benefits of "easy digestion". Mix oats with warm water (lukewarm) and 2 Tbl. yogurt. Cover and leave on the counter overnight. In the morning, bring 1 cup of water to boil with the salt. Add soaked oats, reduce heat, cover and simmer several minutes. Meanwhile, grind flaxseed in a mini grinder. Remove from heat, stir in seeds and let stand for a few minutes. Serve with fresh or frozen fruit, cinnamon, nuts, maple syrup or honey...whatever you like!
