1 3/4 cup Chicken Broth
1/2 cup Orange Juice
1/4 tsp ground Allspice

1/4 tsp ground Turmeric
2/3 cup Dried Cherries
1/3 cup Dried Apricots, chopped
1 Apple, chopped
1 Tbsp Pine Nuts


How Do I Make Wild Rice and Fruit?

Here is how you make Wild Rice and Fruit:

Saute the wild rice in the butter over medium heat for approximately 5 minutes. Add the chicken broth, orange juice, and the spices. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 5 - 7 minutes. Add the dried cherries, apricots and apple. Cook for another 8 - 10 minutes.
