Here is how you make Roasted Parmesan Potatoes:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash and cut potatoes in half lengthwise. Line a rimmed cookie sheet with foil and add butter cut into chunks. Place into oven until butter melts. Remove pan and tilt it until butter is evenly distributed. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese and pepper over butter, you may add herbs or other seasonings to cheese. Place potatoes cut side down on butter. Bake at 400 degrees until potatoes are cooked through, I usually start checking at 40 minutes.
