Here is how you make Charlene's Jello Salad:

Prepare the jello as follows...1 cup of boiling water add jello...then cut the cold water by 1/2 to make jello firm. Make both orange and cherry jello this way. Place cherry jello on the bottom of a 9 x 13 glass dish. Add grapes, apples and nuts evenly. Add mini marshmellows. Place in fridge and allow to set up an hour before adding the orange jello on top.
