4 strips Turkey Bacon (I prefer Louis Rich)
2 oz White Wine
Cooking spray
1 tbsp red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste


How Do I Make Outstanding Brussels Sprouts?

Here is how you make Outstanding Brussels Sprouts:

In a frying pan, fry up the turkey bacon strips. When crispy, let them drain on a plate lined with a paper towel. Set aside.Boil brussels sprouts until al dente. You want them to be soft but firm. Drain and let cool for a few minutes. When you can handle them, cut them in half length-wise.Using the same frying pan you crisped up the bacon in, heat up the pan and spray with cooking spray. Add the brussels sprouts, cut side down. Spray the tops with cooking spray as well. After 2-3 minutes, add white wine to deglaze the pan. When cut side of the brussels sprouts gets golden brown, flip them over. Spray them again with cooking spray. Sprinkle them with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Cook them until they are tender to your liking, about 5 minutes.Crumble or cut up the bacon strips into small pieces. Add bacon to the pan to heat it through again, about 2-3 minutes.
