Actually, nothing can be further from the truth. It's really easy, and it will get you some brownie points with all the women that heard you took the time to make it. The truth is? most of them haven't made it either. I'm sure there's a specific blend of herbs and spices that people really like, but that's not really my way of cooking. I usually just put stuff in until I like the way it taste. That being said, I'll give you the ingredients? but if it taste like it's missing something, by all means add it. If something you see doesn't sound good, or you just don't have it in your cupboard?by all means leave it out. I couldn't believe I had 'mint' when I made this? but I did.

2 cups very hot water
1 cucumber, chopped
2 small tomatoes, chopped
1 bunch green onions, (8) sliced
1/2 cup fresh chopped mint
2 cups fresh chopped parsley
1 clove garlic, minced (optional)

Lemon Juice Dressing:
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon pepper
2 teaspoons salt, or to taste
