1 can cream of mushroom soup (or make your own white sauce)
2 cups Vegetable broth
2 cups water
1 can evaporated milk
1.5 cups fresh sliced mushrooms
1 large onion, chopped
2 tsp. basil, dried and crushed
1.5 tsp. oregano, dried and crushed
1/8 tsp. chili flakes (optional - you can add more if you like spicy)
parmesan cheese (to garnish)
salt and pepper

In a pan, saute onions, garlic, mushrooms until softened and transluscent. Put these into the crock pot with stock and water. Let cook for 2-3 hours on high or 3-4 hours on low. Add in Cream of mushroom soup, evaporated milk, frozen kale and cook an additional hour. Add Tortellini in (frozen), and let cook on high for 30-45 minutes. Top bowls off with some parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste and a slice of toasted italian bread.
