1 Jalapeno pepper; diced. (Seeds and membrane extracted if you want to avoid additional heat.)
1 tsp. Garlic salt OR 1 clove of fresh Garlic
1 c. raw onion OR 1.5 tsp onion powder
.5 tsp crushed red pepper
1.5 tsp ground cumin

Here is how you make Ground Turkey and Bean chili:

*Dice and/or gut your Jalapeno pepper and set to the side.*If using Onion, dice 1 cup and set to the side.*Prepare brown rice as directed.*If using dried beans, cook them as directed prior to prep of dish.*Place 10 oz. of ground turkey in a medium sized skillet over medium heat setting.*Add diced pepper and onion(or onion powder) to skillet.*Cook until ground turkey is browned and onions are clear.*While Turkey cooks, open canned beans and tomatoes. Combine them in a medium to large pot or slow cooker on a medium heat setting until them begin to boil.
