In a smaller bowl combine brown sugar, applesauce, syrup and vanilla. Pour this mixture over oat mixture and mix well. Stir in almonds.Spread onto baking sheet and bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven and flip with a spatula, spreading again. Bake another 15 minutes.Cool granola completely before tossing in raisins.
