Combine the puffed rice, oats, protein powder (or additional oats), sweetener, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Microwave honey and peanut butter in a small bowl for 30 seconds, until peanut butter is melted and smooth. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the puffed rice and oats, along with the applesauce. Stir until evenly combined (if cool enough to handle, it helps to use your hands) Stir in the chocolate chips. Press the mixture into the prepared pan.
