1/3 cup 1% milk

Here is how you make Grandma's Banana Bread - Healthified:

Sift the flour, wheat germ, baking soda, and salt and set aside.In another bowl, cream the butter & sugar. After creamed, blend in the mashed bananas, eggs, milk, and lemon juice.Mix the dry and wet ingredients alternately, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Blend well after each addition.Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional - not included in the nutrition calculation of this recipe).Pour into well greased 9x5x3 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 60 or 70 minutes.My grandmother always made a big batch and wrapped it in wax paper and then foil to put in the freezer.
