Here is how you make NPP1966 Old Fashioned Banana Bread:

Cream shortening, sugar, eggs (one at a time) and bananas. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Place in greased loaf pan 9x5x3. Push batter towards sides of pan leaving center slightly hollowed. In small bowl mix brown sugar and finely chopped pecans sprinkle on top of loaf. Bake at 350* for approx. 50 -60 minutes or until done. Cool on wire rack.
