How Do I Make CHIA HIGH ENERGY ENDURANCE MOUSSE?

Here is how you make CHIA HIGH ENERGY ENDURANCE MOUSSE:

*I use a coffee grinder to grind these seeds and nuts, but use anything that is handy and not stressful to use**please note this recipe requires a few hours (at least) soaking and setting time.In a small bowl add the honey, dates, and 1/2 cup of the water. Leave aside to soak. In batches, grind all the dry ingredients, and add together in a large bowl, stirring in the remaining water. Put both bowls aside for 2 hours or longer, to soak. (It can be left in fridge overnight). Check the consistency of the ground dry ingredients. You ideally want a thick custard consistency, not dry at all. Add more water if you need to. At this stage the taste is okay, but bland. In a food blender or processor, blend the dates/honey/water mixture, then start adding the soaks grounds. Blend to mix well - it should be a thick cake or muffin batter consistency - but we can always add more water just don't make it too thin (unless you actually prefer it that way! - speaking of which you could easily add this to a banana smoothie...Pour into a container or smaller ready-to-go containers. Remember this is a WET fuel source. Don't go all faffy on me if you don't like it this way - look for other drier recipes elsewhere!!Serving Size: Makes approx 4 x 1-cup serves.Number of Servings: 4Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user SUNPANTHER.
