Sweet potato, 1 sweetpotato, 5" long Egg, fresh, 1 large Water, for sealing How Do I Make Nigerian Chicken Pie?Here is how you make Nigerian Chicken Pie: Preheat oven to 200C. Reduce to 180C for actual baking.Spice chicken. Layer baking pan with foil & wax paper, add cooking oil spray to pan, then add chicken. Bake for 30 minutes.While that?s baking, work on the dough; add flour, salt and butter (cut up) into a large bowl. Work butter into flour with fingers till flour starts to look like bread crumbsAdd 2 tbsps of water at a time and knead dough (till it forms a ball). *If dough is sticky, sprinkle some flour and knead some more*. Keep kneading until it forms a cohesive mass. Continue kneading and rolling until smooth. Cover with a napkin and set aside. Peel potatoes, cut each in half and boil over medium heat for 15-20 minutes or till very soft.Check on chicken, remove if almost done. Transfer chicken to a flat plate or chopping board and de-bone. Discard bones and dice/chop up chicken.If potatoes are soft, mash using a potato masher or a fork. Add chopped chicken, mix together thoroughly; add leftover stock from baking pan, mix.Divide dough into four parts. Using a rolling pin (or wine bottle), roll dough (not too thick and not too thin).
