How Do I Make Quick and Easy Hummus?

Here is how you make Quick and Easy Hummus:

Drain the can of chickpeas, but save all of the liquid. Drop chickpeas into blender, add water, and turn on lowest setting. It will be a little chunky at first, add a bit of the reserved liquid if you want it smoother. Add garlic, lime juice, and butter, and process on medium for 1-2 min, or until it is a texture you like. (I like mine very light and fluffy, so generally there is about 5 tbsp. of liquid added to it.)Scrape out into a bowl / small cup, and enjoy!You may want to add any of the following: Black Pepper, Paprika, Diced Chili Peppers or Jalepenos, Mustard Powder, or any spice, pepper or juice you like. This may be made without the garlic if you prefer, or with a lot more if you love it. You can substitute olive oil for the butter, lemon juice or a flavoured vinegar for the lime juice.Also, in a pinch, any soft bean will work for this.
