Put into a large (dry ingredient) bowl: instant oats, whole wheat flour, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, golden raisins, a pinch of salt, 1tsp cinnamon. Toast rolled oats, then whir in food processor briefly to break some of them up, pour into dry ingredient bowl. Toast almonds and chop in food processor, add to dry ingredient bowl. Chop then soak dried dates in some warm water (about 2tbsp) to soften; rough chop prunes while you wait. Add prunes, soaked dates and water, honey, and a large raw egg to food processor. Blend until it forms a sort of batter. Pour "batter" into the dry ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon or spatula. Lightly grease a square baking pan (metal or glass). Dump mixture into pan and spread evenly. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, meanwhile heat oven to 350F. Bake about 25 minutes. Allow to cool a bit, cut into 12 even pieces, then spread on a baking sheet and bake at 350F again for another 20 minutes. This helps bars to dry out a little and maintain shape.You can substitute different nuts and experiment with the fruit.
